Science shows that every pull can place damaging pressure on your dog’s neck. Training matters.

Studies suggest that pulling on a lead can create high pressure on a dog’s neck. This pressure may cause pain or injury, and the study found that no standard collar or slip lead tested eliminated the risk when a dog pulled (Carter, McNally & Roshier, 2020).

Buzzback is designed to gently interrupt pulling as lead tension increases, reminding your dog to ease up before pressure continues to build. This supports looser-lead walking and may help reduce repeated strain through the neck and throat area over time.
